Learning Support Assistants job summary
Our Opportunity
Heatherwood School is seeking to appoint multiple Learning Support Assistants to work across our wonderful school. The successful candidates will form part of an enthusiastic and committed staff team and all relevant training will be given. For the 1-1 positions, the successful candidates will be part of the team around a child and all training will be given. The posts are subject to funding for individual pupils.
We are seeking to appoint highly motivated and innovative staff members who recognise the importance of learning, maintaining physical health and safety and achieving outcomes, for our amazing children and young people.

Heatherwood School is a community special school for pupils aged 3-19 years with severe, profound and/or multiple learning difficulties. The school also has a post 16 provision for pupils with moderate learning needs. The Bridge is a satellite provision, commissioned by Nexus, which offers employability and lifeskills opportunities additional to those provided in school.
We are committed to providing innovative opportunities, outstanding levels of care and inspiring experiences to engage and motivate our children and young people.
