Learning Support Assistants Level 2 job summary
The College is looking to appoint a number of Learning Support assistants to join our extremely successful Special Educational Needs team. The ideal candidate will be able to work under the guidance of the SENCO and teaching staff to supervise and support individual or groups of students, in or out of the classroom. The role will require you to work closely with students particular educational needs including SEMH and assist with the development and implementation of individual intervention and support plans. Experience of or willingness to undertake MAPA training is beneficial.
In 2019 our overall Attainment 8 score was 5.2 and Progress 8 was +0.39 and we were ranked third overall in the county of Shropshire for performance. Students studying English Language and English Literature achieved 84% and 88% grade 4 and above respectively, with 20%+ achieving a grade 7 or above.
