We are looking for a Learning Support Assistants to join the team at Sherard Primary School. There are both temporary and permanent positions available. There are roles available based both in Mainstream or our Specialist Provision, working 5 days per week (32.50 hours per week), Monday to Friday, term time only plus the 5 INSET days (39 weeks).
We are looking for reflective and skilled Learning Support Assistants who can motivate and encourage children as required and to support children with special educational needs.
You will have an NVQ Level 2 in Supporting Teaching and Learning/Early Years or equivalent. Level 2 qualifications in Maths and English are essential, or currently working towards. Along with good interpersonal skills, you will be emphatic with children and young people, and be able to work effectively as part of a small team.
