What skills and experience we're looking for

The successful candidates will be;

  • Experienced in working in KS1 andsupporting the teaching and learning of phonics.
  • Confident to lead small group catch up tutoring.
  • Confident in ensuring the well-being of all children.
  • Able to communicate effectively andwork constructively as part of a teaching team.

Further details about the role

As part of this role, you will;

  • Assist the classroom teacher in planning and delivering learning activities including small group and individual support.
  • Support the teaching of early reading and phonicsEstablish and maintain effective relationships with pupils and staff.
  • Assist in preparing and maintaining the learning environment.
  • Participate in appropriate staff meetings and contribute to the development of policies and procedures related to classroom management.
