The post holder will support individual pupils through mentoring and learning support work, be a deputy designated safeguarding lead with a responsibility for specific cases, including attending core group meetings and case conferences, and supporting families across the academy.
Job Description
Purpose of the role:
To support pupils in securing an outstanding education at Chepping View Primary Academy and provide an inclusive education for pupils
To advise and liaise with teachers, SLT, parents and other professionals to best meet the needs of children requiring additional support
To work with academy’s DSL and SENCo
Treat pupils and staff with dignity, building relationships rooted in mutual respect, and at all times observing proper boundaries appropriate to a teacher’s professional position
