Further details about the role

LEO Academy Trust is committed to developing a family of schools, where collaboration makes a real difference for our children, staff and families. We are looking to appoint outstanding class teachers on a permanent basis from September 2023. This is a fantastic opportunity to work as part of established teams and to bring high standards of teaching and learning to our Trust.

We have a popular and successful ECT Programme, and are inviting applications from those who will have gained QTS before September 2023.

We also invite applications from experienced teachers and aspiring or established middle leaders, and would be delighted to discuss with you this next phase of your career.

The Trust currently has 7 academies over 8 sites across Sutton and Surrey. It is expected that additional Surrey schools will join the Trust during 2023.

Successful applicants will initially be confirmed as appointed to the Trust, and during the Summer term confirmation of the assigned school will be provided.

There may be some travel between sites on occasion, for example to attend training opportunities.

We are proud to provide endless opportunities for our pupils, staff and the local communities we are part of. With over 500 staff, our schools are empowered to support each other to improve both outcomes for our pupils, and to drive performance across the wider school system. We are delighted that our schools remain long standing members of the Challenge Partners Network of Excellence. Our commitment to Professional Development is ongoing; staff, governors and Trustees access training through our LEO CDP website, Judicium’s online learning portal and a wide ranging programme of courses delivered in our LEO Training Room and online via GoogleMeet.
