Lettings Duty Supervisor job summary
To communicate bookings to the site team and update the school’s booking system.
To liaise with the Lettings Manager on a daily basis regarding the day-to-day running of the Lettings Department
To liaise with site team regarding security provision and cleaning and channel maintenance needs
To liaise with hirers and ensure customer satisfaction and elicit feedback on the customer experience. To deal with problems and issues arising from Lettings
To monitor the lettings email and respond to all queries within a timely manner.
To liaise closely with PE staff, coordinating lettings activities with the school’s needs
To assist with managing the Lettings Assistants and ensure that work is performed to agreed standards
To be responsible for the security of the sports facilities
To unlock and lock gates and alarm site at closing time
To report to the Site Manager and Lettings Manager any premises issues, including action taken.
To carry out maintenance of the 3G AGP and other school facilities
To maintain the conduct of hirers whilst on site and when leaving, including minimising noise and ensure compliance with the School's Travel Plan.
To ensure that the site rules are followed, including appropriate footwear on the AGP.
To provide a high standard of cleanliness across the site
To determine the safe playability during adverse weather conditions
To deal with first aid incidents and injuries that occur during lettings and follow up with necessary reporting procedures.
To perform ad hoc duties as directed by the Site Manager, Lettings Manager or senior leadership team
To liaise with the Site Manager & Lettings Manager regarding condition of grass pitches and carry out maintenance of pitches and goal posts where necessary, including liaison with the Grounds Maintenance team if required.
To undertake ‘litter picking’ and other tasks associated with maintaining the grounds in a clean and tidy state for young people, staff and other users.
To carry out reasonable overtime requirements including covering for absent colleagues.
To attend training courses and undergo training as necessary

Katherine Warington School is a new comprehensive, co‐educational and non‐denominational academic secondary school (opened September 19) with 750 students currently (180 in each of years 7, 8, 9 and 10 – these year groups are already oversubscribed). The school will add a
further 180 students in each subsequent year and then open a 250 strong Sixth Form. By 2025 we will have grown to our capacity of 1,150 students. The school was established through the partnership of the Harpenden Secondary Schools Trust, which includes the three outstanding
schools in Harpenden: Roundwood Park, St George’s and Sir John Lawes and additional partners: the University of Hertfordshire and Rothamsted Research Centre (a world leading non‐profit agricultural science research centre).
