What skills and experience we're looking for
As a Teaching Assistant at Bluecoat Aspley you will have the opportunity to embody the Academy’s ‘courageously inclusive’ ethos. The department supports one of the widest ranges of students within the city allowing staff the unique opportunity to develop skills across subjects, SEND needs and a variety of provisions.
You will work as an inclusion champion ensuring that students are able to access the academic, social and well-being provision on offer at the Academy. The Academy has an outstanding reputation for SEND provision in the City amongst parents and professionals.
The successful candidate will be committed to the students and academy life and will possess the ability to communicate effectively and be able to raise the standards of learning for all of the students with whom they are required to work.
