What skills and experience we're looking for
The successful applicant will:
- Have a good educational background with excellent written and oral communication skills
- Understand the education system and how children learn
- Be able to make positive relationships with children, working closely with pupils who are finding learning difficult
- Have a positive and enthusiastic approach with the ability to work within a team as well as on own initiative
- Have knowledge of the need for confidentiality and awareness of child protection issues
- ·Have flexibility of working hours, committed and reliable with excellent timekeeping

Grenoside Community Primary School is a Local Authority school set in the village of Grenoside. We are co-educational and have just under 350 on roll with pupils coming from Grenoside and from the wider local area. School Leadership is seeking to appoint a strong and committed Level 1 Teaching Assistant to work within our KS2 team providing 1:1 support for a child with a physical disability.
