Are you the person to support our beautiful Wyndham children on their reading journey, ensuring they have the basic skills and confidence to learn to read and read to learn?

Can you use your expertise to support our children to progress in their reading, creating endless possibilities for them now and in the future? Can you make every moment count to help children find their personal GREATness, demonstrating clear impact of the work you have undertaken?

An exciting and unique opportunity has arisen for a committed and knowledgeable individual to join our world-class school with a focus on phonics and reading in a highly bespoke role as a ‘Reading Ranger’. We are looking for an exceptional and experienced individual with a relentless drive to support children’s reading journey, with a particular focus on developing children’s word recognition skills, phonemic awareness and pre-phonics skills with pupils across the primary phase. Through working creatively and strategically alongside our English lead and classroom teachers, the successful candidate will support pupils whom require additional support so that pupils are enabled to read age-appropriate materials supporting our mantra that at Wyndham, children learn to read and read to learn using a range of approaches such as precision teaching, leading phonics groups and reading interventions.
