Level 2 School Class Swimming Teacher job summary
Job Title: Level 2 School Class Swimming Teacher (Key Stage 2)
Location: Bishops Stortford
Hours: 1 hour per week (Term time only)
Hourly Rate: £15.00
You will have experience working with children and a passion for swimming education. If you are a qualified swimming teacher with experience working with children, we would love to hear from you. This role is term-time only, with one session per week, providing a great opportunity to work with children in a supportive and rewarding environment.
Responsibilities:
- Delivering high-quality swimming lessons to children in Key Stage 2 (ages 7-11).
- Ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all students during lessons.
- Adapting lessons to meet the individual needs and abilities of students.
- Providing feedback and progress updates to the school.
- Maintaining a positive and engaging learning environment.
Requirements:
- Qualified Level 2 Swimming Teacher (or equivalent).
- Previous experience teaching swimming to children.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A genuine enthusiasm for teaching swimming and helping children develop their skills.
