  • Teaching assistant
• Key stage: Early years, Key stage 1, Key stage 2
• Working pattern:
  • Full time - Hours 8.30am to 4.00pm daily (33.75hrs per week) term-time only
• Contract type: Fixed term - Initially to 31st August 2023
• Full-time equivalent salary: PS4 £20,722 FTE Actual salary £16,713 (pro-rata term-time)

What skills and experience we're looking for

Experience of working with children with special needs, particularly complex medical needs or PMLD,is preferred.The ideal candidate would be tracheostomy and/or intervenor trained. Individuals with abackground working in medical or health care are strongly encouraged to apply.

This is a challenging but ultimately rewarding opportunity to work in our busy school for pupils aged 2-11 with a range of severe learning difficulties and complex medical and care needs.

We have a comprehensive induction process and ongoing training programme for all our staff.
