We have a very exciting opportunity for a number of level 2 Teaching Assistants to join our school, these are permanent positions. The hours of work will be 8.30am – 4.00pm Monday – Friday, worked during term time.
Job requirements
We wish to recruit highly committed Teaching Assistants who have knowledge and experience of working with children who have special educational needs.
You should have the ability to communicate effectively with our children their families and staff. Within this role you will also be working with and alongside a wide range of different professions all with the common goal of ensuring the best care and education is given to our children.
You will have positive behaviour management skills, and be flexible and able to work on your own initiative.
You should have experience of working with children who have profound and multiple learning disabilities or Autism, ideally, but not necessarily in an educational setting. A relevant qualification would also be welcomed.
You will be enthusiastic and passionate about child development, play and interaction with knowledge on how you can develop this further to enhance children’s experiences.
