We are looking to appoint 2 x SEN Teaching Assistants to our school staff. These roles require applicants to enjoy working with children and as part of a team.
Experience in supporting pupils with attachment difficulties and challenging behaviour is an essential in these SEN Teaching Assistant roles. A secure understanding of working using an attuned approach and the impact of adverse childhood experiences on a child are needed for these positions. Mereside are committed to using a restorative approach to behaviour management.
Mereside CE Primary is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people and requires all staff to share and demonstrate this commitment. The successful candidate will have to meet the requirements of the job specifications and will be subject to pre-employment checks including and enhanced DBS, a medical and satisfactory references.
Please note that the ability to communicate easily with stakeholders and provide advice in accurate spoken English is also essential for the post.
