Level 2 - TEACHING ASSISTANT( Band D6) job summary

Overview of the Post -

We are seeking to appoint a part-time teaching assistant at Poulton Lancelyn Primary School to work in Year 4 on Monday and

Tuesday. This position will involve whole class support and small group intervention work. This is not a 1-1 position.

We require a caring, committed individual who has the ability to work as part of the school team and inspire trust and confidence in

children.

We are looking for a teaching assistant who:

Can demonstrate outstanding classroom practice

Has high expectations of children, behaviour and personal development

Has a passion for supporting the needs of all children

Has a positive outlook and loves developing children's learning

Initially, this position is a fixed term contract with the possibility of extending this beyond the academic year.
