About the roles
Braeburn Primary and Nursery Academy is part of the Ebor Academy trust, the school is situated in Scarborough. We are currently recruiting for other similar positions, if applicants are interested in one that one vacancy please state this clearly within your supporting information.
We are looking to recruit a dedicated and enthusiastic Level 2 Teaching Assistant to work within our hardworking team. This role is to work 15 hours spread across Monday – Friday, exact days and times are to be discussed at the interview. This is a one year fixed term position until 31/08/2023 initially.
As a Teaching Assistant you will be passionate about developing the true potential of all our children. You will have a calm and positive disposition and you will nurture, inspire, challenge and motivate children. Implementing clear boundaries and routines, you will use behaviour management in all areas around school.

The job requirements
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children in a supportive capacity and has good verbal communication skills.
To work closely with our EYFS team to:
• Support children with their personal and social development, at their own developmental stage
• Help promote an understanding of healthy routines and why these are important. This will include teeth cleaning and toileting skills
• To support our children with their gross and fine motor skills individually and in small groups
• Build relationships with parents and families to provide next steps with toileting support
