What skills and experience we're looking for
Can form positive and caring relationships with children which motivates them to learn, grow and be confident
Be committed to inclusion and working with parents.
Have understanding and experience of strategies designed to support children with social and emotional and communication and interaction difficulties
Be able to demonstrate a range of strategies used to support emotional regulation
Shows initiative and the ability to be spontaneous
Work flexibly within a supportive and committed team
Has knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum
Use strategies, under the supervision and guidance of the teacher, to support pupils to achieve learning goals
Support pupils to understand instructions and support independent learning
Supervise and provide particular support for pupils, including those with special needs, ensuring their safety and access to learning activities
Is a good team player who is willing to contribute to the ethos and wider community of the school
Has a sense of humour, combined with energy and enthusiasm
