Level 2 Teaching Assistant job summary
Oasis Academy Byron is a one form entry primary school set in spacious grounds in Old Coulsdon, with a Children’s Centre on site. We are looking to recruit a Level 2 Teaching Assistant, who is enthusiastic, highly motivated and has a passion to work in the classroom supporting the teacher in all areas of the curriculum. This post requires an individual with a love of working with children, commitment to the school’s vision of ‘support, value, and challenge’ and who may have some speech and language specialisation.
The successful candidate will be an enthusiastic, flexible, confident individual with excellent interpersonal and behaviour management skills. They will assist and support the class teacher in learning and teaching. The post holder will be pro-active and a positive role model for all children.
As a classroom TA you will be working with a range of children including those who may need additional support to overcome barriers that are hindering their learning, as well as assisting the class teacher.
