What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking to appoint a dedicated, hardworking and enthusiastic individual who has an excellent work ethic to join our team in KS1 and KS2.

Required to start 1st September 2024.

26 hours and 15 minutes hours per week, term time, working 38 weeks per year.

This will include supporting pupils at breakfast club 5 mornings per week from 7.45am plus lunch cover every day. A paid break will be provided during the day outside of the lunch hour.

We would like to employ professional, flexible and hardworking Teaching Assistants initially in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2.

  • Loves working with pupils and is committed to helping them feel safe and happy.
  • Has very high expectations of all children both in the classroom and around school including lunchtimes.
  • Is calm, patient and caring and able to build and maintain excellent relationships with pupils and staff in school
  • Can demonstrate initiative, drive and enthusiasm.
  • Can support with interventions in maths, phonics and reading
  • Puts the wellbeing of pupils at the heart of all they do.
  • Is highly professional and well presented with excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Is flexible, positive and resilient.
  • Is willing to undertake appropriate further training including first aid.
