Level 2 Teaching Assistant

Payscale: Grade 2 Point 5 (FTE £21,575 per year, approx. £7347 Pro-rata)

Working 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year

About You

The ideal candidate will be an individual who:

·       Has experience of working with children or as a Teaching Assistant

·       Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people

·       Is enthusiastic, ambitious and serious about improving children’s life chances through education

·       Is highly organised, conscientious and able to set clear priorities when managing a busy workload

·       Can work cooperatively and communicate clearly with fellow colleagues, parents and pupils

·       Has a ‘can-do’ attitude and has the ability to use their initiative

·       Can work flexibly and professionally


About Role

We are looking for an experienced Level 2 Teaching Assistant to join our team, working 15 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.  The purpose of this role is to support pupils in the classroom with their education.
