 Our Vision

Lady Elizabeth Hastings is a Church of England school, having at its heart the Christian faith.

Our vision underpins all that we do:

Guided by our Christian values, we endeavour to motivate and inspire everyone to become a lifelong, resilient and enthusiastic learner. We aspire to equip everyone to meet the challenges of an ever-changing world, and to reach out to the wider community. We will share the Gospel and give everyone the opportunity to accept Jesus Christ as their support, guide and friend.

Our school is Lady Elizabeth Hastings’ legacy:

Anything is possible with faith in God.  If you believe, you see, God is able to do all things, in accordance to his plan, purpose and will. (Mark 9:23)

Our School

Our school is located in the peaceful village of Ledston, surrounded by fields, trees and wildlife.  Our pupils are polite and well-behaved, and our teachers and teaching assistants are hard-working and dedicated. It is a rewarding place to work.

Our mission statement, that anything is possible with faith in God, inspires a positive mindset.  We encourage our children to believe that with faith and perseverance, they can achieve whatever they dream of.  We aim to develop our staff in the same way, trying to support them to become the best at what they do.

We thank you for your interest in working at our school and hope that you will visit us in order to see for yourself what a welcoming and wonderful place it is to work.

Yours sincerely

Alexandra Vignes  (Headteacher)
