Level 3 Early Years Practitioner for Wrap Around Care 3:30pm - 6pm job summary

About this Role

Holmwood School is part of the Inspiring Futures through Learning, Multi-Academy Trust, which comprises of fifteen schools across Milton Keynes and Corby. The Trust is committed to developing a family of schools whose purpose is to inspire the futures of us all through learning together.

We are looking for an experienced individual with a relevant Level 3 qualification or EYQTS to join our wrap around care team in our wonderful school to provide high quality care that meets the needs of Early Years and infant school children in a our setting. We are looking for someone who is positive, a team player and holds the interest of the school and children at the heart of everything they do.

Aim and main purpose of the job (including but not limited to)

Provide a welcoming and stimulating learning environment to enable children to learn through play and grow in confidence.

Ensure appropriate standards of safety and security are maintained at all times to safeguard the welfare of the children in line with the Statutory Welfare Requirements. This includes the new safer eating requirements outlined in the EYFS framework.

Support children in their play and development.

Ensure appropriate standards of hygiene are met at all times in line with school policies and procedures.

The role will be primarily based at Holmwood School and Nursery, Great Holm, Milton Keynes.
