What skills and experience we're looking for
NOA's Ark Nursery has an opportunity available for a Level 3 Early Years Practitioner to join the team on a permanent contract. This is an all year-round role, 38 hours per week. You will be required to work 8am - 6pm on 4 days with a day off in the week, alternatively the hours can be worked over 5 days. We would also consider applicants looking to work either 2/3 full days or looking for lunchtime cover 9am – 3pm.
The successful applicant will be qualified to at least Level 3 or above, have a strong understanding of EYFS curriculum along with a genuine passion to work with children. You will also actively promote and support the safeguarding of children within the setting, ensuring nursery policies and procedures are observed at all times.
What we’re looking for
- Full and Relevant Level 3 or above Early Years qualification.
- Previous experience working in a Nursery setting or similar.
- Strong knowledge and understanding of Safeguarding, Child Protection, and the wider legislative requirements for working with children.
- Knowledge of the EYFS and its practical application within a childcare setting.
- Strong communication skills written and verbal.
- An enthusiastic, flexible, can-do attitude and willing to learn.
