This role is ideal for someone passionate about delivering high-quality care and education, who thrives in a nurturing, child-centred environment. You will play a key role in supporting children’s learning and development, planning engaging activities, and working closely with colleagues, parents, and carers to ensure each child reaches their full potential. What we are looking for
- Holds a full and relevant Level 3 (or above) qualification in childcare
- Achieved GCSE grade C or above in Maths and English
- Strong understanding of the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and child development
- Demonstrates a clear commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
- Confident in implementing safeguarding procedures and maintaining appropriate boundaries
- Knowledge of keyworker systems, health and safety in a nursery setting, and equal opportunities
- Effective communicator with the ability to build positive relationships with children, colleagues, and parents
- Able to work both independently and collaboratively as part of a team

The Details
Start Date: September 2025
FTE Salary range: GLF Associate 2 Point 1 £22,98.66 to Point 16 £24,872 (DOE)
Pro-rata (actual) Starting Salary: £17,722.21 to 19,316.94 (DOE)
Hours: 8:15am-3:15pm Monday - Friday 32.5 hours per week, 39 weeks per year (term time)
Contract: Permanent
Closing Date: 31 Aug 2025 (Please note: As the school is currently closed for the summer holidays, there may be a delay in communication. Shortlisting and interviews will take place at the start of September).
