Level 3 Nursery Teaching Assistant job summary
The school is looking for a hardworking and committed individual who is able to work using their own initiative, demonstrating enthusiasm and a good sense of humour to join our friendly and supportive team.
All of our Teaching Assistants are expected to work in a range of ways, including with individual children, leading small groups, supporting teachers within the classroom environment according to need and working under the direction of the class teacher.
Experience of working with children is essential as is a commitment to further professional development. A Level 3 qualification and experience in Read, Write Inc would be an advantage but not essential. Up to date first aid training would also be an advantage.
The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of pupils and expects all staff and pupils to share this commitment. We follow safer recruitment procedures. The successful applicant will undergo a background check and an enhanced DBS check.
