What skills and experience we're looking for

We are seeking an enthusiastic, caring and proactive Level 3 Teaching Assistant, who has experience working within a Foundation Unit. You will be working with an experienced team supporting children with a diverse range of needs in our Nursery, playing a vital role in creating a nurturing and stimulating leaning environment.

We need someone who;

• Has a commitment to developing and maximising the potential of our pupils.

• Good organisational and interpersonal skills- fully responsive to the day to day issues in school.

• Has excellent literacy, numeracy and communication skills. • Will champion phonics and reading.

• Using effective strategies to support children with special education needs and children with language needs.

• Contributing to the learning environment by setting up appropriate activities.

• Will work with colleagues and leaders to contribute to whole school development.

• Can model high standards and have high aspirations for our children. • Can create a happy and welcoming atmosphere.

• Communicate with parents and develop strong, positive relationships with them. • Provide first aid and toileting support when required.
