What skills and experience we're looking for
St Paul’s is seeking to appoint a Level 3 Teaching Assistant with a focus on EAL from December 2022. The successful candidate will enjoy the support and collaboration of a very supportive well-established team.
Key responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
- Support students’ learning of English as an additional language, tailoring support to match the learner’s needs.
- Support students to become independent, co-operative and collaborative learners
- Contribute to assessing students progress and support them in reviewing their own learning
- Identify and remove barriers to students’ learning
- Adapt and customise curriculum materials
