We are delighted to advertise an excellent teacher apprenticeship opportunity within our highly successful, well established Performing Arts faculty due to curriculum and academy expansion. This post is for a Level 6 teacher apprentice in Performing Arts, with a competitive salary. This post will be based at The Discovery Academy, an Ofsted Good secondary school within the Alpha Academies Trust. At the end of the apprenticeship programme there may be potential for a permanent position. 
 

The successful applicant will have one-to-one support from both school-based-subject and university mentors, whilst working alongside experienced practitioners within the school and across our Trust. Here at The Discovery Academy, there are many exciting future career opportunities available once qualified teacher status (QTS) has been achieved. The successful applicant in the first instance will be responsible for teaching Performing Arts to key stage 3 classes. 
 

The post will provide the successful applicant with wonderfully rewarding opportunities to develop pupils to the highest levels and will include one day a week CPD to become a fully qualified teacher.
