About the role: 

 

We are looking for someone who believes in our school values - aiming high, working together, being kind and leading the way – and who is passionate about building a love of reading through leading the library space as well as working closely with pupils of all ages from 9-16.

 

Our ideal candidate will have: 

  • Excellent knowledge of children’s and young adult literature and an infectious passion about reading and fostering a love of reading
  • Experience of working in a library within an educational institution or similar, and undertaking leadership and management activities therein (desirable)
  • Ability to run and devise systems
  • Strong financial management skills for management of library budget
