Librarian/Literacy Teaching Assistant job summary
At Sir William Romney’s School we strive for excellence in everything we do, therefore we are seeking to appoint a Librarian/Literacy Teaching Assistant. This is a part-time position (35 hours per week term time plus inset days) starting in January 2025. We are seeking an enthusiastic person to promote and develop the school library in order to provide an efficient resource service to students and staff and also offer support to individual and small groups of students.

Our beautiful rural location is easily accessible from a number of towns and cities nearby. Offering less than half hour commute from Nailsworth, Stroud, Stonehouse and Cirencester, 45 minute commute from Gloucester, Cheltenham, Bristol, Swindon, Chippenham and under an hour from Bath, Devizes and parts of the Forest of Dean (all of which our staff commute from).
