An exciting opportunity to join the Team at Oasis Academy Enfield
Librarian
We are looking for a Librarian to join our team on a full time basis from September 2025.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day operation of the Library, facilitating extended opening. Supported by the Library Assistant manage and develop the Library Centre to meet the needs of students and staff.
Salary: Scale 6, Points 17-21 Outer London (£29,916 - £31,743 per annum pro rata) plus Local Government Pension Scheme
Hours: 37 hours per week x 38 weeks per year, term time only.

Oasis Academy Enfield is a mixed, 11 to 18 academy, situated a ten minute walk from Enfield Lock train station. Students make good progress at the academy. In 2025 Ofsted judged that the school continues to be good in all areas.

Oasis Academy Enfield opened in September 2007 as a new academy. Initially a group of portacabins and a pioneering spirit, the Academy moved into its £30 million purpose-built accommodation two years later on Innova Business Park, 12 minutes walk from Enfield Lock Station.
The Academy has enjoyed considerable success in its 15 year history. In 2018, Ofsted confirmed that we continue to be a good academy.

Around 95% of our sixth form students progress to university with two thirds going to Russell Group and other leading universities following a wide range of courses from English, History to engineering, psychology and law.
