What skills and experience we're looking for
We are seeking to appoint a Library Manager to run the school’s library and learning resource centre.
The key focuses of this role will be to:
be responsible for the day to day running and organisation of the library provision and resources
ensure the library is stocked with relevant and engaging texts for the school’s context
ensure the space is managed as a vibrant learning resource that helps to promote a love of reading and literacy to students.
work alongside the Literacy Lead (and where appropriate the English department) in promoting reading and relevant actions that support the school’s literacy strategy
advise and guide students in their choice of reading materials
