New Rickstones Academy is graded 'Good' (November 2023) and has a state of the art new building offering fantastic facilities for both students and staff. Over the last 8 years the academy has seen a huge increase in student numbers, with the number of students on roll more than doubling. The academy is now oversubscribed and our newest building, which opened September 2022, was to meet this demand. New Rickstones Academy is a great place to work with a friendly and supportive staff team. Staff numbers have also increased and the academy is proud to boast high staff retention rates. Staff development is a priority with an extensive and hugely successful CPD (Continuing Professional Development) program to further develop our excellent staff.
We are looking for a Light and Sound Coordinator to provide essential support in managing sound and lighting aspects for various school events and activities on an as-needed basis. This role aims to ensure the seamless execution of events by assisting in the setup, operation, and maintenance of sound and lighting equipment. The successful candidate will contribute to creating engaging and memorable experiences for students, staff, and guests while upholding safety standards and promoting a positive event environment. This position offers flexibility and opportunities for hands-on involvement in technical production within the school's dynamic event landscape.
