Further details about the role
Acorn Education Trust is seeking to appoint a caring and dedicated Teaching Assistant to support learners within our nurture base onsite at New Close Primary School. These students all have social and emotional needs and/or an Autistic Spectrum Disorder which affects how they access the curriculum.
The post holder’s responsibilities include providing general classroom support, the meeting of the student’s emotional and social needs and liaising with other teaching staff in the development and delivery of an adaptive curriculum.
This is a wonderful opportunity to join our dedicated team in Link 2 nurture base. We are immensely proud of this provision and are looking for staff who are committed to helping all children and young people feel engaged, challenged, and able to make excellent progress. The aim of the setting is to reintegrate children to their home primary school.
Link 2 is situated in Warminster in beautiful rural Wiltshire. It is a setting which accommodates a maximum of 8 children from across our primary schools in the Acorn Education Trust; a multi-academy trust consisting of 14 primary schools and 3 secondary schools. It provides exciting opportunities to improve local education and draw on the collective experience of a trust.
