The Literacy Intervention Tutor post is a fixed term appointment for one year. As Literacy Intervention Tutor, you will provide high quality and targeted tuition, either with individual or small groups of scholars. You will deliver intervention through an organised approach to support the learning of identified students, in order to raise their levels of attainment.
Astrea Academy Dearne is an 11-16 secondary academy situated in Barnsley, with around 1150 students. We are within commutable distance from Wakefield, Leeds, Doncaster and Sheffield and are a proud member of the Astrea Academy Trust family of schools.
