LKS2 Class Teacher (Maternity Cover) job summary
The role
Our school plays a key role in the local community and has a warm, family atmosphere with a strong Christian ethos. We are looking for an innovative and motivated team member who can deliver creative teaching and inspire a love of learning in our children. The Governors are seeking to appoint a creative and dedicated Y3/4 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave.
If you are a Lower KS2 teacher looking to join an enthusiastic staff we are keen to hear from you. The governors would welcome applications from teachers who have the vision and drive to contribute to the life of the school and who will help raise standards of achievement and aspiration.
We are looking for someone who:
• is or aspires to be an outstanding teacher
• has a secure knowledge and understanding of the National Curriculum, particularly LKS2
• is experienced in teaching mixed-age classes

We are a small, rural village school with 51 pupils on role and a thriving governor run nursery. The Governors are seeking to appoint a creative and dedicated Y3/4 Class Teacher to cover maternity leave.
