The successful candidate will be expected to take a lead in one subject area and a phase in Key Stage 2. The priority for the school is to recruit an outstanding teacher in the first instance!

We are a high performing school, with some fantastic results and many, many things to be proud of: a rich and vibrant curriculum, incredible grounds, brilliant staff and amazing children. The school has won numerous awards for its focus on the social and emotional mental health of its pupils, for its work in curriculum innovation and its success on the sports field.

This role will appeal to a teacher with a passion for teaching and learning, together with high aspirations of both themselves and the children they teach. The successful candidate will join an incredibly dedicated and knowledgeable community of staff with many opportunities to further both pedagogical and leadership skills whilst also keeping well informed about the most current best practice and research. Being a large 3 form entry primary school, our community values ensure that we both support and develop one another through a commitment to working together to provide the very best for our children.

We would love to hear from you if:

• You are committed to ensuring that all children achieve their very best
• You have the ability to establish strong relationships with those around you
• You have excellent interpersonal skills and work well within a team
• You are enthusiastic, dedicated and motivated to develop your practice
• You can demonstrate a proven track record of effective subject leadership

In return we will provide:

• The potential to join a highly effective middle leadership team
• A school where children and staff are excited to learn, have fun and are happy
• A vibrant learning environment with supportive parents and carers
• A hardworking team with opportunities to learn from best practice, current research and one another
• Professional development to enhance leadership skills
• A commitment to ensuring that all members of our school community achieve their best

High quality CPD will be offered, to ensure that your skills and talents are maximised. If you’re looking to move into leadership, we would love to hear from you! You will be working alongside very talented teachers who have much to offer and who are also open to learning new things from others.

All prospective candidates are encouraged to visit before deciding whether to apply for this post.
