Gayhurst Community School is set in the dynamic, diverse and happening London Borough of Hackney. Our school is oversubscribed and extremely popular with parents, we operate waiting lists for every year group. The 600 children in our school are aged from 3 to 11 and we work with every child on their individual journeys and our academic results at all ages are way above national average. We are part of the LEAP federation which is three state maintained primary schools in Hackney who work together to provide a wider network for teacher development and curriculum specialisms. At our last OFSTED inspection in December 2019 the team felt they had seen enough to recommend a move to an Outstanding grade for the school.
