What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint an experienced and enthusiastic practitioner to teach a mixed Year 2/3 class, who will be part of our Senior Leadership team with specific responsibility for leading Year 2 and 3, and maths across the school. The successful candidate will be an excellent, committed and passionate teacher and leader. They will be excited to become an integral part of the strategic development of Beechwood Primary School.
We are looking for a dynamic, innovative, inspirational teacher who has:
- Proven classroom experience
- Good organisational and interpersonal skills
- Vision and commitment to promote high standards of teaching and learning
- Can deliver a rich and engaging curriculum to meet the children’s needs
- A positive approach to working with children through the setting of high expectations
- Confidence in the use and application of IT across the curriculum
- Willingness to become an integral part of the school community
- Creativity, flair and can enable all children to achieve their very best
- A desire for lifelong learning
