We are seeking to appoint an enthusiastic and talented Teaching Assistant, who will work in partnership with the team at Holne Chase to provide an exceptional start for the pupils of the local community. The role will be working under the direction and alongside the class teachers to support children within their normal day to day learning. The support will enable the children to make effective progress academically, socially, and emotionally.

Holne Chase is part of the Preston Hedges Trust which is built on the ethos of Fun, Creativity and Achievement. With these as the foundations of the school, we are committed to making Holne Chase a very special place to learn; a school which is full of creative, innovative and engaging learning opportunities that encourage pupils to become inquisitive and confident, life-long learners.

During our Ofsted inspection, inspectors saw pupils ‘relishing the range of opportunities’ provided to them and being ‘well prepared for life beyond school.’ and we were graded good in all areas of the Ofsted framework. They also noted that ‘teachers know their subjects well’ and ‘reading is a cornerstone of the curriculum. Books are in every nook and corner.’

As an inclusive school, we work hard to ensure children thrive socially as well as academically. We promote resilience, positivity, respect, empathy, responsibility and aspiration, and foster a positive, caring, supportive learning environment; with an open-door policy for children and families.

We are looking for a Teaching Assistant who is driven to provide the very best opportunities for our children at our school. We wish to appoint a TA who is willing to collaborate with our supportive team to ensure that our ethos of Fun, Creativity & Achievement is brought to life.

We can offer amazing children who love to learn; supportive parents, creative learning environments and an incredible staff team who are incredibly passionate and very supportive. Our school is a wonderful and supportive place to learn and work in, so come and find out more about how you can be part of our exciting journey.

If you are passionate about teaching and committed to providing creative learning experiences, we would love to hear from you! To learn more about the role, this exciting venture and the opportunities that it brings, potential candidates are warmly welcome to meet the Principal and tour our school.
