Lunch Time Supervisor job summary
We are seeking to appoint a part-time, Term Time Only Lunchtime Supervisor to join our team. The successful candidate will ensure that pupils are supervised and kept safe during the lunchbreak. You will be professional, a team players and possess good communication skills.
The successful candidate will be required to work as part of a team to supervise pupils indoors and outdoors over the lunchtime period by;
- Following rotas and procedures.
- Supervising and caring for children who become ill during the lunch break.
- Attend to pupils who have had minor accidents, following the school’s first aid procedures.
- Ensure that accidents are recorded in the accident book.
- Communicating effectively with class teachers and other members of staff.
- Maintaining a consistent and positive approach to managing pupils’ behaviour, following school policy.
- Maintaining good levels of hygiene.
- Supporting pupils with emergency medication as required.
- Ensuring Health and Safety is observed at all times.
We are looking for someone who is:
- An excellent communicator.
- Experienced at working with children and within a team and can maintain good relationships.
- Able to contribute to a happy, safe and supportive play environment.
- Approachable, sympathetic, enthusiastic, patient and resourceful.
- Committed to ensuring all children within Create Partnership Trust are safeguarded.
