About this Role

Gladstone Park Primary is a happy nurturing and inclusive community school. As member of the Anthem Schools Trust family of schools, we are secular and welcome children from all backgrounds. Our mission is to foster a positive, creative and multi-sensory learning environment that inspires each child to maximise their individual talents, curiosity and ability to think. At Gladstone Park Primary, we believe all children are entitled to enjoy their childhood and live it actively.

We believe primary school days should be one of the most exciting periods of anybody's life, as new skills and knowledge are gained every day. We are looking for enthusiastic, passionate Lunchtime Assistant to join our hard-working and friendly lunchtime team. Our Lunchtime Assistants oversee and contribute to the care, safety, well-being and supervision of our children during the lunch period, in the dining hall, playground and other areas, ensuring that the whole lunchtime experience is as positive as possible for all children.

In addition to supporting children’s eating, and promoting health eating, you will be responsible for ensuring all children have the opportunity to access engaging and rewarding play experiences. Happy and playful lunchtimes are an important part of the school day allowing children to eat, socialise and experience the benefits of freely chosen play.

Join Gladstone Park’s team and we can offer you:

The chance to join a motivated and supportive team, who are passionate about the school community and creating a school where every child and adult can thrive.

The opportunity to work within an organisation who have a robust personal development programme and are committed to the professional development of every individual.

Access to Employee Assistance Programme offering free confidential support on a range of issues such as work, wellbeing, money, health, and legal advice.

Cycle to work scheme.

Access to a Health Cash Plan, an optional scheme to pay a weekly or monthly premium to claim money back on everyday health care needs such as dentist, optical and physical needs.

If you feel you have the skills and experience to support the pupils at Gladstone Park Primary, we would be delighted to hear from you. We welcome visits to the school and are sure you will experience our nurturing, welcoming atmosphere to get a taste of how rewarding your work will be.

Please contact the school (Rasa Undaraviciute) to arrange a visit or further discussion at rundaraviciute@gladpark.anthemtrust.uk or telephone 020 7738 6481.
