Job overview
We currently have an exciting opportunity for a highly committed Lunchtime Organiser to work in our brand new school - Pear Tree High School, opening in Cheadle Hulme in September 2024. We aim to welcome you on board for September 2024. Pear Tree is a specialist support school for pupils aged 11-19 with state-of-the-art facilities which provide an environment suitable for the learning needs of all our students and young adults. These facilities are designed to suit the changing needs of pupils from key stage three through to post 16. You will play a key role in ensuring the building promotes a positive learning environment.
The role is Part-time working 10 hours per week, term-time only. This is a grade 2 post with a starting salary of £5444. The full-time equivalent is £22,737
The school address will be: Worcester Road, Cheadle Hulme, Stockport, SK8 5NW

Piper Hill School is an Outstanding school that is ambitious for every one of our learners. We are a larger than average size special school that caters for students aged 11 – 19 with significant learning difficulties. We aim to provide the very best education for our students and to ensure they have the very best outcomes and make the best rates of progress they possibly can.
Piper Hill high School has state of the art facilities that provide an environment suitable for the learning needs of both children and young adults, including a hydrotherapy pool, dance and drama studio, gym, and an interactive learning environment (ILE room). The school also has a variety of outside spaces, including a Forest School space with overnight camping pods.
Achievements include being awarded the status of National Support School in 2011 and becoming a teaching school in 2014. More recently, we have established the school as a National Centre of Excellence and have developed the capacity to support other special schools through role modelling outstanding practice.
