Our experienced Head teacher and her supportive senior leadership team are looking for lunchtime play leaders to join their growing team of support staff for lunchtime supervision. This role is Monday - Friday, 5 hours per week, 38 weeks per year.
Main Purpose of the job:
Responsible, under the direction of the Head Teacher or other nominated officer, either individually or as part of a team, for securing the safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils during the lunchtime period, in accordance with agreed practices and procedures.
Key responsibilities include:
- Undertake direct supervision of pupils in designated areas.
- Assist with daily decision on areas for pupil use, e.g.: wet lunchtimes.
- Promote and ensure schools rules regarding games are met and that health and safety procedures are maintained.
- Assist pupils in the dining areas or playground.
