Lunchtime Play Leader job summary
We are looking to appoint a Lunchtime Play Leader to provide a happy, safe and fun lunchtime experience for our children. You would be joining an exceptional and supportive team of professionals, who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for the children. Bilsthorpe Flying High Academy is a primary school, educating children from 2-11 years and we have a fantastic and talented staff, driven by a passion for teaching, who are relentless in our pursuit of excellence and our mission to make every day count for our children. Our staff, have a ‘can do’ approach, are supportive, care for each other, learn together and work as a high-performing team. Importantly, we also know how to have fun! Each of our individual roles has an impact on the future of our children and so, we put them at the heart of the decisions we make and the services we provide.
In July 2024 we received a “Good” Ofsted rating and we are on a continual journey to ensure we are a great school, where our children leave us with a lifelong love of learning and curiosity that will help them to develop high aspirations and all the skills they need for successful futures. Your core duties will be:
- Supervising pupils at lunchtimes, creating a fun and happy experience both on the playground and in the dinner halls.
- Ensuring safety by removing spills and making sure tables and floors are clean and ready for the next sitting.
- Making sure equipment is safe, useable and fit for purpose.
- Be a positive role model for our pupils.
- Delivering planned activities and assisting in creating new ones.
