Lunchtime Play-leader job summary
We are seeking to appoint a highly motivated lunchtime play worker to join our team to lead activities at lunchtimes. As part of our commitment to improve the health and well-being of all our children we wish to provide daily activities which encourage children to be active and develop their physical ability. We would be interested to hear how the successful candidate may plan to organise activities for our children during their lunchtimes and what skills they have to offer.
The successful candidate will:
• Enjoy engaging with young children to deliver high quality play
Be committed to promoting healthy life styles by providing a positive role model for physical
activity and sport
Have an understanding of how children develop and learn
• Be willing to learn and develop with the support of our experienced team
Be an excellent communicator
• Be flexible and able to adapt to different situations
The role of this candidate will be to help plan and deliver fun and engaging play activities over the lunchtime period. The school is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare and safety of children and expect all staff to share this commitment. The successful candidate will be required to complete a Criminal Records Disclosure Form in line with Section 115 of the Police Act 1997.

Our school is situated on the outskirts of the south west of Sheffield city centre. We are full of 221 happy, hard-working four to seven year olds and a dedicated and committed staff team.
