Lunchtime Play Team member Grade 2 job summary

The Oaks Primary is an inclusive 2-form entry school based in the Druids Heath area of Birmingham, with a dedicated, hard-working team of staff who strive towards all pupils achieving the highest educational outcomes, regardless of their circumstance or background.

We wish to appoint a Lunchtime Play Team member for 6 hours per week to start as soon as possible. You will be working term-time only:

Monday to Thursday 11:55 am to 1:05 pm and Friday 11:55 am to 1.15 pm

You will have:

  • Opportunity to support the development of our new and exciting OPAL (outdoor play and learning) scheme
  • Opportunity to work in a positive environment with a committed lunchtime play team
  • Opportunity to share ideas and improve both your own and the school’s practice

Candidates will:

  • Be keen to develop play opportunities and enjoyment for our children
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the role
  • Understand the importance of safeguarding
