Lunchtime Supervisor Additional Needs job summary

Sherbrook Primary is a school for children with a wide range of special needs. We require a Lunchtime Supervisor to start as soon as possible in September. We are looking for someone who is caring and enthusiastic to help supervise and support the children during the school lunch break. The role will include supporting the children at lunchtime in the dining room or classroom, promoting positive pupil behaviour, assisting the pupils with table manners, clearing away plates, cutlery etc The role will also include assisting with their personal needs as well as interacting and supporting them in play activities. Your duties may include working with children in a complex needs class or with children who have severe autism. You may also have to help clear away tables and chairs at the end of lunchtime.

The hours of work are Monday – Friday 12.00pm – 1.30pm, term time only.

This position is subject to an Enhanced Disclosure check under the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974.
