Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

We have an exciting opportunity for a lunchtime supervisor to join our hard-working lunchtime team, dedicated to making a real difference to the lives of our pupils. We are a diverse and inclusive school, with an excellent reputation in the local community.

You will be part of a friendly, supportive team responsible for supervising children during the lunch break, ensuring the safety and wellbeing of all our children and promoting good behaviour. The successful candidate will work one of two shifts covering a lunchtime break of 11:55 - 13:25.

We are looking for someone who:

  • is a good role model for our children
  • are be able to communicate effectively with children and staff with a good standard of spoken and written English
  • has the ability to relate well to children and adults
  • can manage pupil behaviour effectively
  • can work well as part of a team
