Lunchtime Supervisor job summary

This post is to commence as soon as possible and is on a fixed term basis subject to the operational needs of the school. It will be reviewed in July 2025.

The post holder will work 7.08 hrs per week, Monday to Friday working 11.45am until 1.10pm.

The role will include:

  • Supervision of children during lunchtimes;
  • Supporting and engaging with children, promoting positive behaviours;
  • Organising games and activities for children.

You will be required to assist in securing the health, safety, welfare and good conduct of pupils, organising and supporting appropriate play activities and good behaviour in accordance with the practices and procedures of the school.

The ability to relate to children from diverse backgrounds is essential for this job, as well as having good verbal communication skills in order to liaise with children and other staff members.

The successful candidate will actively support the Mission Statement and the Ethos of our Catholic Primary School.
